So why fight? Why deny what feels right in order to enshroud ourselves in a seemingly vain attempt at righteous living? As followers of the Way, we must be rooted in him with our whole selves: doubts, failures, wayward eyes, tender hearts, and dreams alike. They all belong to Him. We fight because that is who we are, and in doing so we embrace a nature deeper than the sin that ensnares us.
The Nothing, a force of subtle, creeping compromise, tears away at the human soul, eroding our very identity until we are nothing more than a thread of the person we once were. Is there hope against this powerful force?
